Good news! Congratulations to Yuanke Wu for winning the 2024 National Scholarship of Huazhong University of Science and Technology!  Yuanke Wu is a PhD student from the class of 2021, majoring in Materials Science and Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His research focuses on the design of safe electrolytes for lithium batteries. He has published seven academic papers as a first author in SCI journals such as Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Advanced Energy Materials, and Energy Storage Materials, all of which are in the first district of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Notably, one of his papers was recognized as a VIP paper by the journal. Yuanke  Wu has applied for four invention patents, of which one has been authorized. He has also participated six national and provincial key projects, as well as two industry-university-research projects. Throughout his doctoral studies, he has received several accolades, including the First Class Academic Scholarship, Zhixing Scholarship, Science and Technology Innovation Award, and the First Prize for Technical Ideas in the National Advanced Energy Storage Technology Innovation Challenge. Additionally, he has been honored with the title of “Three Good Graduate Student.”
