Abstract

A facile strategy was developed to stablize 3D hosts for lithium metal anodes in carbonate electrolytes, which enables lithium metal batteries with improved Coulombic efficiency (~99%) and prolonged cycle lifespan (96% retention over 300 cycles) under the conditions of high areal loading (3 mAh cm-2) and low N/P ratio (4).
