From January 5 to 6, 2019, the 973 Program "Basic Research on the Interface Problems of High Specific Energy Lithium Sulfur Secondary Battery" 2018 annual summary meeting was held at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Experts from the project team and the Ministry of Science and Technology attended the meeting.
Since the implementation of the National Key Basic Research and Development Program "Basic Research on the Interface Issues of High Specific Energy Lithium-Sulfur Secondary Batteries", research has been carried out in strict accordance with the plan and the task book, and the interface and material design of the positive and negative electrodes, functional separators, and in-situ analysis.A series of innovative results have been achieved in terms of platform, theoretical model and full battery process optimization. The overall idea is novel, the research focus is prominent, and the goals are clear. The planned tasks for 2018 have been completed well and the expected stage goals have been achieved. Compared with research in the same field at home and abroad, the team has formed its own research characteristics in the study of lithium-sulfur battery interface issues. The teamhas made substantial progress in clarifying the lithium-sulfur battery electrode interface issues, and has achieved a series of innovative research with important reference value Results.
The project is oriented to the major needs of the national new energy strategy, and the innovative results achieved have laid a good research foundation for the successful conclusion of the project in 2019.
