《Recent Progress on Lithium Argyrodite Solid-State Electrolytes》
Because of its high safety and energy density, all-solid-state batteries have become one of the key research directions of energy storage devices for next-generation electric vehicles and smart grids. The development of solid electrolyte materials with high room temperature lithium-ion conductivity, excellent chemical/electrochemical stability, and excellent compatibility with electrode materials is one of the important research topics to promote the development of all-solid-state batteries. Sulfide electrolytes have become a research hotspot in many inorganic solid electrolyte materials because of their relatively high room temperature conductivity (~10−3 S∙cm−1) and low electrolyte/electrode solid-solid interface impedance. Based on the author's years of research results and the relevant work published at home and abroad, this paper systematically summarizes the research on lithium-sulfur-silver germanite solid electrolyte materials from the aspects of electrolyte structure, ion conduction, synthesis, comprehensive performance improvement and application in all-solid-state batteries, analyzes the problems and challenges faced by this type of electrolyte, and finally discusses its possible future research directions and development trends.
