Qin Mingsheng is a 2021 Ph.D. student in the School of Materials, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His research interests are the design of fast-charging electrolytes and high-voltage electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries. Currently working as the first author at Energ. Environ. He has published 13 academic papers in SCI journals such as Sci., Adv. Energy Mater and ACS Energy Lett., all of which are in the first district of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. As the first inventor (except the supervisor), he has written and authorized 8 Chinese invention patents. As the backbone of the project, he has participated in 3 national, provincial and ministerial key projects and 4 industry-university-research cooperation projects. He has participated in 8 academic conferences and has been invited to give 3 academic reports on electrolyte. During his doctoral period, he won the honorary titles of first-class academic scholarship, three-good graduate student, Zhixing Scholarship and Science and Technology Innovation Award.

Liu Mengchuang is a 2021 Ph.D. student in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Professional score of 90.5, during the doctoral period, he focused on the research of non-flammable phosphate ester-based electrolytes, published 6 papers in ACS Energy Lett. Energy Storage Mater. and other SCI journals as the first/co-author, and wrote 9 patents with the second inventor (the supervisor is the first inventor), and authorized 2 patents. Participated in the academic conference and won the best poster award once, and gave academic reports twice; Participated in the badminton competition organized by the academy and won the second place in men's doubles and the second place in mixed doubles.

Zhong Wei is a 2021 Ph.D. student majoring in materials science at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. At present, he has published 7 SCI papers as the first author (5 papers in the first district of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and 2 papers in the first district of JCR), written and applied for 6 invention patents, and authorized 4 patents. As the backbone of the project, he participated in national key R&D projects, industry-university-research projects, etc. He has won three good graduate students, outstanding graduates, Zhixing Outstanding Scholarship, outstanding student cadres, advanced individuals in scientific and technological academic innovation, etc. During the doctoral period, he mainly focused on the research of pre-lithiation, and carried out related topics such as the preparation of high-activity composite lithium supplements and the scale of industrialization.
